Delete Your Account & Data

This page explains how to request deletion of your BreedBase account and the data associated with it.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open the BreedBase app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings and tap Delete account. (The same option is also under Settings → Privacy Settings → Danger zone.)
3. Confirm your password, then confirm the deletion.

Your account is scheduled for deletion after a short grace period, during which you can cancel the request by simply logging back in. After that window, your account and associated data are permanently deleted.

Request deletion without the app

If you can no longer access the app, email info@breedbase.de from the email address registered to your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify your identity and process the request.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your personal data, including:

• Your profile and account details (name, email, settings)
• Your dogs, photos, videos, and uploaded documents
• Your breeding journal (heat cycles, matings, pregnancies, litters, puppy records)
• Health test records and pedigrees you created
• Your community posts, comments, and direct messages

What we may retain

We may retain a limited set of records where the law requires it (for example, transaction and invoicing records for statutory periods). These are kept only as long as legally required and are then deleted. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
